Apex Linvar, the UK’s leading provider of quality storage and handling solutions, is celebrating a great first half of 2012.

The year started with a bang for the Milton Keynes-based manufacturing company, with new chief executive Anthony Finlayson-Green firmly on board and new owners Chamonix Private Equity LLP backing ambitious plans for growth.

And the first six months have seen Apex Linvar strengthen its market position through a combination of investment in people, the on-going refurbishment of the manufacturing and office facilities, and bringing new products to market.

The Apex Linvar brand itself is also now being refreshed, further setting the company apart from competitors and firmly establishing it in the top league of UK industry.

Anthony commented: “Apex Linvar this year celebrates its 75th anniversary, and many people both within the company and externally saw the potential to make it a very special jubilee year. The first half of 2012 has seen us identifying just how we can grow market share and we have taken the time to strengthen key relationships with customers and suppliers.

“The recent launch of the innovative SpeedCell storage solution to great acclaim and the evolution of our own branding are great examples of how Apex Linvar is moving forward.

“However, our experience, professionalism and commitment to delivering holistic storage solutions to a range of sectors at competitive prices remains at the forefront of what we do.”

Quality comes as standard with Apex Linvar. The company is a founder member of SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers’ Association) and is the only manufacturer of pallet racking in the UK represented at European level on all the major technical groups developing European standards.

All of its products carry with them the Apex Linvar guarantee of quality through the company’s certification to BS EN ISO 9001, which is accredited through an independent audit of robust quality management systems.

In addition, the company continues to offer access to more than 4,000 innovative products through its industrial and workplace equipment Storage Direct catalogue, and associated website, www.storagedirect.co.uk.

Anthony added: “I am confident that the fantastic momentum gained over the first half of this year will continue throughout the rest of 2012 and that Apex Linvar will build on its position as the ‘go-to’ partner and manufacturer of choice for storage solutions.”
