SEMA, the Storage Equipment Manufacturers’ Association is to hold its Annual Standards and Regulations Seminar on Wednesday 30th May at the National Metalforming Centre, West Bromwich.
Speakers include representatives from statutory bodies including the HSE (CE Marking and Machinery Directive) and the Environment Agency (ISO 14001).
The half day event will feature presentations from Steve Cowen of SEMA Technical Committee on Standards for Mobile Storage Systems and Mike Savage, also of SEMA, on the SEMA Racking Design Code and other developments in SEMA Codes of Practice. Examples will be given on how to use the new SEMA Code to design racking systems.
The event starts at 10am, concludes with a buffet lunch and is excellent value for money at £75 + VAT. Cost to SEMA User Club members is discounted to £55 + VAT.
