Totally Logistics North, launched at Doncaster Racecourse on 28-29 September 2011 delivered a truly broad based exhibition covering the ‘Total’ supply chain. It was such a resounding success that exhibitors not only pledged their continued support for the show, but also requested that a southern version of this premier event should be held this year. Accordingly, Totally Logistics South will be launched at FIVE, Farnborough on 10-11 October 2012, and Totally Logistics North will be held again at Doncaster Racecourse on 26-27 September 2012.
Toyota Material Handling and Flexi Narrow Aisle are two of the forklift truck manufacturers who have already confirmed their attendance at Totally Logistics and are both new exhibitors to the Show in 2012. Reservations for stand space at Totally Logistics have already been confirmed with several other market leaders including Allott & Associates, Belgravium, CI Logistics, Invest in Doncaster, OBS Logistics, Ontech Solutions, Proteus Software, Shrink1st and South Yorkshire International Trade Centre.
Richard Milbourn, event director of the Totally Logistics exhibitions, said: “The initial response to the launch of Totally Logistics South has been fantastic and what’s particularly gratifying is the number of companies exhibiting at both Shows. I think it proves the concept that two shows in quick succession promises a much bigger impact on the market and the fact that Farnborough opens up a whole new part of the country and offers something new and fresh.”
FIVE, Farnborough was chosen as the venue for the southern show because it is located in the heart of south east England with excellent transport links by road – M3, M25 and M4 – rail – direct services to London and Southern England – and air with Heathrow being a short drive away. FIVE is a purpose built exhibition centre with over 3,000 sq m of clear-span space and ample free parking for exhibitors and visitors.
Totally Logistics North and South will fill the autumn gap in the logistics marketing calendar by undoubtedly putting suppliers of the complete range of logistics products, systems and services face-to-face with senior supply chain professionals responsible for making the key buying decisions.
