APC Overnight, the UK’s largest next day delivery network, has expanded in South Yorkshire with a new 40,000 square feet warehousing and distribution facility in Rotherham. The new site will enable the local depot – APC Courier Logistics – to offer cutting-edge virtual warehousing to ecommerce companies, including storage as well as pick, pack and despatch services as a complete fulfilment offering.
The move coincides with the depot passing £10 million turnover and celebrating its eighteenth year in providing reliable nationwide deliveries for businesses and the public sector throughout the region.
“The new Rotherham site opens up new opportunities for APC Overnight services to local and regional businesses. We now have the facility to provide ample modern warehousing, contract packing and distribution facilities for our customers, which enhances our reliable next day parcel delivery service. We’ll be able to help new Internet start-ups and those businesses that are branching out into ecommerce who need a dependable pick, pack and despatch partner to enable them to provide rapid and accurate order fulfilment,” says Nick Cusworth, Managing Director, APC Courier Logistics.
“The move also marks an important milestone for the depot. Eighteen years ago, we started out as a small business working from a very small office. Today, we turnover £10 million and we employ 100 people from the locality. Thanks to our membership of APC we have UK-wide reach and are able to provide a reliable, quality service,” he adds.
