Since formation in 1972 as the Fork Truck Hire Association and more recently, the Fork Lift Truck Association, FLTA, has become the most representative body of its kind in Europe. Its sole aim is to maintain and raise standards in the materials handling industry and, in doing so, help to protect the interests of consumers by enhancing both safety and productivity in the workplace.  FLTA members meet stringent Codes of Practice and operate to higher standards, reflecting in better service – and peace of mind – for their customers.

Voting has just begun for this years FLTA “Oscar Ceremony”, their annual Awards for Excellence and, represented in the prestigious and hotly contested Innovation Category, is Curtis’ exciting enGage VII.

The Curtis enGage VII integrates comprehensive panel functionality into a single display that enables OEM’s to design a truly customised gauge. Available in both module and cased versions, the enGage VII’s rich, vivid colours and sharp imagery combine with strong contrast to provide large, easy to read, high resolution LCD display; highly visible in all environments. The enGage VII seamlessly integrates with Curtis’ highly acclaimed AC Speed Controllers and Input Devices and is CAN compatible with full Input/Output integration. It can even interface directly with cameras in either PAL or NTSC format, thanks to two video inputs. In short, its unprecedented flexibility and virtually limitless customisation options make it the best value on the market.

The public can vote by clicking on the link provided. All Members of the FLTA have traditionally played a large part in this vote. This year voting has been widened and all users of materials handling equipment are strongly encouraged to take part in this simple and worthwhile step.
