Delta highlights importance of WPM for $10.5 billion PM/BI software market.

DeltaWMS is rebranding the company to communicate its continued expansion into and leadership of the warehouse performance management or ‘WPM’ systems market, Delta announced today. The company’s new brand identity is on show for the first time at ‘Logistics Link North 2011’, Stand 77.

DeltaWMS managing director Lance Bennett comments: “When strategically deployed, a WPM-empowered warehouse has the power to transform any supply chain. Delta’s smart performance management tools and next-generation WMS systems are designed to make that happen, and we want our brand to reflect this”. WPM Delta technology users to date include The Co-op E-store, Eddie Stobart, Life Fitness (Europe), Toyota Tsusho and Palletways.

According to analyst Gartner the combined PM (performance management), business intelligence (BI) and analytics software market grew by 13.4% in 2010 to reach $10.5 billion. “WPM will make a growing contribution to the global PM market” Lance Bennett says.
