An exciting new event showcasing the latest solutions for improving the supply and movement of goods is to be launched at Doncaster Racecourse’s state-of-the-art exhibition centre on the 28th-29th September 2011.
Totally Logistics North is an innovative exhibition bringing together, under one roof, the latest products, systems and services that are helping key logistics decision makers save money and gain a competitive edge through more effective management of their supply chains.
The two-day show gives transport, fulfilment and warehouse professionals from all industry backgrounds a chance to meet the leading providers of cutting-edge logistics solutions, from sourcing materials right through to distribution – all at one easily accessible event.
There will be logistics experts on hand at the show to provide information and give live demonstrations of the incredible variety of products and services available to boost the efficiency of goods-to-market operations. Visitors will also be able to attend seminars and even go on site visits to local automated warehouses.
Seminars at Totally Logistics North will include Hull University explaining how businesses can make significant savings, while improving service quality, without resorting to slash and burn tactics, Apprise Consulting presenting the third annual survey by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport on the outsourced logistics market and AGR Inventory on the implications of outsourcing to the Far East.
Also providing fascinating insights into the future of logistics will be a host of renowned organisations such as Dialight, Imtech Logistics, Cimcorp, ABP Humber Ports, Invest In Doncaster and Barge Connect, who will demonstrate how water-based freight is becoming increasingly important in the region as fuel and environmental issues inspire a resurgence in the use of the UK’s major rivers, canals and estuaries for transporting goods.
Richard Milbourn, the organiser of Totally Logistics North, highlighted Doncaster as a major logistics hub, with excellent motorway and rail links, making the Racecourse’s superb exhibition and conference facilities the ideal venue for this not-to-be missed show.
He said: “The North is leading the UK in logistics, with a £100m giant logistics park and the £400m Rossington Inland Port both being built in Doncaster next year. This exhibition will enable logistics professionals to evaluate their total supply chain functions at just one event, thereby eliminating the costly and time-consuming need to visit other shows.”
Visitors that pre-register for tickets at www.totallylogistics.co.uk will be able to benefit from a free £5 lunch voucher and a free £20 Doncaster Racing ticket which will be presented on arrival, where there is free parking for 3,000 cars and free entry to the exhibition.
Totally Logistics North is the exciting new exhibition for shed and fleet operators to help them do their jobs more effectively. For further information or to register for tickets go to www.totallylogistics.co.uk
