Meachers Global Logistics has wrapped up a substantial long-term deal with the Isle of Wight based composite manufacturer, Gurit UK.
Gurit is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced composite materials, as well as composite process equipment and tools for the global wind, tooling, transportation and marine markets.
Gurit UK selected Southampton based logistics firm Meachers Global Logistics to handle its UK warehousing requirement for its raw materials and finished goods, due to the continued success and rapid expansion of its manufacturing arm.
Under the new agreement Meachers will provide a streamlined fulfillment solution at its secure warehousing facilities in Southampton. With in excess of 300,000 square feet of storage, Meachers’ modern 24/7 operations provide racked and un-racked space, comprehensive warehousing systems and advanced stock control that can be linked directly to clients.
