Five more major organisations – The Canute Group, Dialight, IMSM, Imtech and SDE – have joined the existing 17 market leading companies committed to participate at Totally Logistics North, the new, cost-effective exhibition that will put suppliers of the complete range of logistics products, systems and services face-to-face with senior supply chain professionals responsible for making the key buying decisions. The event, to be held on 28-29 September 2011 at Doncaster Racecourse, is being organised by Richard Milbourn, founder partner of Logistics Manager magazine and the Logistics Link series of exhibitions. Milbourn says that the diverse activities of the 22 organisations already committed, and the promised support from many others, to participate at Totally Logistics North will deliver a broad based exhibition that genuinely features the latest products, systems and services utilised in the supply and movement of goods and materials from sourcing through all stages of production, packaging, storage, handling and distribution to end users.

Totally Logistics North was launched late last year to redefine the logistics exhibition experience and break the trend over the past few years of more, and more, exhibitions concentrating on particular segments of the market. “Of utmost importance, the exhibition is being held in one of the best state-of-the art exhibition and conference facilities in the North of England, a region that has been overlooked in recent times,” adds Milbourn.

Milbourn also says that he has been surprised by the high level of response to the launch, and the extent to which exhibitors have welcomed the new concept. “They apparently are looking forward to getting something different. Undoubtedly, they believe that Totally Logistics North is the right show, being held at the right time, and in the right venue,” Milbourn concluded.

The Canute Group is one of the UK’s fastest growing global supply chain providers whose services include road haulage, freight forwarding, supply chain management and storage solutions. Dialight, is one of the world’s leaders in applied LED technology with continuous innovations in light output, efficiency and reliability for use in warehouses. Imtech, is breaking into the UK logistics software sector with the launch of its LBASE Transport Management System, Warehouse Management System and cargoNET parcel and courier system. IMSM is a leading consultancy delivering the implementation of ISO standards to clients on a worldwide scale. SDE is a leading storage and mezzanine specialist.

Other exhibitors include Belgravium, Invest In Doncaster, Lighthouse, Logistics Leaders Network, Lutterworth Ecolighting, OBS Logistics, Proteus Software, Psion Teklogix and Shrinkfast.

Doncaster Racecourse re-opened as a new events venue in 2007 following a £34m development and is one of the best state-of-the art exhibition and conference facilities for the Midlands and North. It is perfectly located in the heart of the UK motorway network with the M18, A1(M) and M180 providing eight key junctions within the Borough, and easy access to the M62 and M1. Doncaster also has excellent rail links from Scotland, the Midlands and North, and London which is only 90 minutes away by train from Kings Cross.

Totally Logistics North will utilise both indoor and outdoor space at Doncaster Racecourse. The 3,400 sq m indoor Lazarus Exhibition Hall will be used to demonstrate the latest IT and warehouse and distribution software systems; materials handling equipment, storage and packaging systems. The outdoor display and event space, adjacent to a free parking area for 3,000 cars, will be used as a commercial vehicle park to display the latest vehicles and distribution solutions.

A comprehensive marketing and promotional programme will be implemented to support Totally Logistics North and ensure a high class event that delivers a real ROI for exhibitors. It will be an event that will transform marketing and sales operations by providing the right sales contacts at the right price. Exhibition space costs from as little as £190 per sq m if booked by the early bird discount deadline of 28th February 2011.

Milbourn is confident that whatever product, service or system you are marketing then Totally Logistics North will help you to promote and sell it better.
