The winds of change are currently blowing fresh and strong at Vanriet UK Limited.
Vanriet UK Limited, one of Europe’s respected material handling companies, design, manufacture and install material handling systems with special focus on automated conveyor & palletising systems, from their UK factory in Tamworth.
As part of planned expansion and succession planning Theo Vanriet has taken over the role of Managing Director from Paul Farmery, who will retire during 2011.
Theo, one of the Vanriet family shareholders has already assumed day to day control of Vanriet UK Limited, supported by Paul and a strong UK based management team.
Theo is also responsible for Vanriet UK’s sister company in The Netherlands ROHACO BV, who over last 35 years have been a pioneering company in the provision of end of line handling solutions based on Arm and Gantry robots.
Theo’s expansion plans includes the recent appointment of Martin Battersby as their new Sales Manager. Theo van Riet, Managing Director, commented, “I am delighted that Martin has joined the business. Martins depth of professional sales & marketing experience, combined with his intimate knowledge of conveying & palletising systems made him the ideal candidate for us”.
Further investment in Tamworth includes the introduction within the design office of ‘3 D AutoCAD Inventor’ along with additional drawing office personnel.
The winds of change are indeed active at Vanriet UK Ltd with all existing staff and some new ones looking forward to further expansion and increasing business opportunities with keen anticipation.
Vanriet UK Limited will be exhibiting at the IMHX show, Birmingham NEC 16th – 19th November, Theo commented that both he and Martin are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Vanriet UK Limited stand located within Hall 18.
