This year’s National Fork Lift Safety Week, which runs from 20th to 26th September, will focus on helping supervisors keep their staff safe. As part of this annual safety awareness campaign, the FLTA is offering managers a range of FREE resources at www.fork-truck.org.uk.
Designed to help managers keep their staff safe, these will include:
• A dynamic PowerPoint presentation – an effective overview of the key issues, giving supervisors a fast insight into important safety concepts, and a convenient way to explain them to senior management.
• An interactive good practice checklist – a quick and simple way to highlight areas of concern, understand potential risks, and obtain suggestions for future safety action.
• Two new safety poster designs – to print and display wherever you feel it is appropriate, reminding staff at all levels that they have a role to play in ensuring the safety of their colleagues.
In addition, we’re retaining all of the free safety materials created for previous safety week campaigns – meaning there’s an ever-growing selection of posters, videos and guidance documents to help you in your task.
