roger-williamsDuring October 2009, Storage Equipment Safety Service Ltd, which is celebrating its 23rd year of trading, relocated its Head Office into a brand new state-of-the-art building complete with a purpose built conference suite.

The event, which took place on Thursday 17th June, was attended by over 70 guests, and was officially opened by Mr Roger Williams, CEO of the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA).

Mr Williams said of SESS, “The larger space in the new Head Office will expand the existing offering, allowing the company to grow and provide more frequent and different training courses to clients, as well as the continuous improvement of the Rack Safety Inspection service, which is the core of the business. SESS provide safety training and inspection services to clients across the UK and Europe, so it is very important that they have the most up-to-date facilities.”

Established in 1987, SESS specialise in warehouse safety, with a focus on Racking and Shelving. It provides safety inspections of storage equipment. The SEMA qualified inspectors provide a professional service which concludes with a risk assessed report detailing the level of damage within the warehouse, a layout drawing and remedial work needing to be carried out. This ensures the warehouse is safe and fit for purpose, with the end aim to reduce accidents within the warehouse.
