europastandardvehicleEuropa Worldwide Logistics has seen year on year growth of its Logistics Division of some 21%, attracting new quality business. The company has focused on providing individually designed customer specific solutions, which has produced both efficiencies and substantial cost-savings for them.

Europa administers customers’ inventories by scanning bar codes to control individual product serial numbers. Patrick Turner, Europa Logistics Director says “Europa has been working closely with customers to move them to EDI transmission of orders and reporting.
This  eliminates the need for “manual” email operations. This procedure  saves customers time, administration and improves accuracy”.

Europa’s 85,000 square foot Northampton Logistics site provides not only warehousing space but also incorporates a multitude of services, including value-enhancing activities, such as stock reworking, assembly, product manipulation and returns management, providing customers with a single source of supply chain expertise.

Says Europa’s Gren Turner, managing director Europe: “While European and International Freight remains our core business, many of our customers in these sectors have turned to us to undertake third party logistics services such as UK warehousing, pick-and-pack and distribution. As our business in this area has grown, we have acquired new domestic customers who need a centrally based logistics hub like our facility at Northampton, and use it as a central distribution centre from which to process consignments and to distribute their customer orders to supermarkets and other retail outlets throughout the country.”

Europa’s other Operating Divisions include European Express, Worldwide Air, Worldwide Sea, UK Distribution and Show Freight.
