In other developments, it has launched a new and improved website. It provides up-to-date information about the company and the services offered, as well as current news articles, press releases and job vacancies. In addition, the site also features separate online quotation and bookings forms

The graphic design and interface present a dramatic improvement, and Europa has streamlined the site’s navigation, making it more user-friendly, with a much improved home page This will make it easier for users to locate their resources quickly, and also give new users the opportunity to learn more about the company as they can browse through articles, information and archives.

The website provides detailed information about the company’s six main operating divisions – European Express, Airfreight, Seafreight, UK Distribution, Show Freight and Logistics. It also highlights Europa’s niche markets – Automotive, Fashion, Mail, Marine, Multimedia, Pharmaceuticals, Publishing and the Wine Trade.

In the coming months, Europa will be monitoring the site usage and hit rates through google analytics, and looking at how the site can be developed further.

Award

At the same time, Europa’s  Northampton regional office has been awarded five stars for Hygiene and Safety by South Northamptonshire Council. This is the maximum score a business can receive. The inspection covered various health and safety issues, mainly involving food hygiene issues.The certificate, which was presented to Northampton’s General Manager, Dave Hands, states that the very highest standards in safety and food hygiene were achieved. The scoring for this award ranges from no stars (very poor) to five stars (excellent).
