still-rx20-leaves-the-competition-standing-1The STILL electric fork lift truck RX 20 won the 2009 test of the expert magazine LOGISTIKWELT.

Five comparable trucks of different manufacturers were closely inspected, driven and evaluated by professional fork lift truck drivers.

Editor-in-chief Walter Dorsch presented the award to Bert-Jan Knoef, STILL Director of Sales.

“With the new RX 20, a truck that has already found its position on the market has won the test “, said Dorsch.

The RX 20 mainly scored in the categories of driving characteristics, ergonomics and handling. Bert-Jan Knoef said: “It makes us especially proud to win this prize. It confirms that our development and production Teams have made the right effort for our customers at a high level.”

The electric fork lift truck RX 20 had been re-launched in 2009. The result was a user-friendly workspace for the operator and improved efficiency of the truck. New for example, are the electrically operated parking brake and the minilever hydraulic controls.

The dashboard with the display was completely redesigned and is now placed well visible in the front of the cabin. The energy saving programme “Blue-Q” is standard and is activated when the driver presses a button. Up to 20 percent of energy can be saved by this feature. This means saving up to 2,500 Euro in five years of three shift operation.

The RX 20 series has load capacities ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 tons and had already made a huge impression on the market with lateral battery change feature. The RX 20 is a proven truck suitable for applications anywhere in the field of intralogistics and now offers considerable additional value after the re-launch.
