Chaintec, the country’s leading supplier of leaf chain to the forklift truck (FLT) replacement market, is further expanding its footprint in the UK with the move of its existing Midlands business to larger, purpose built premises at Bentley Bridge Business Park, Wednesfield, West Midlands.
The new offices, open on Monday 4th January 2010, can be contacted on Tel: +44 (0)1902 307777.
The move to Bentley Bridge will ensure that Chaintec customers across the Midlands region benefit from easier access to the trade counter, increased warehousing capacity and more efficient logistics operations delivered from its new premises.
Chaintec now provides safe and efficient chain fitting to large and high FLT’s using its own scissor lift. Customers across The Midlands area can now access this new service whilst continuing to take advantage of the full range of inspection and fitting services provided by Chaintec’s experienced engineers.
Demand for fitting services has continued to grow during 2009 as David Hassan, MD at Chaintec explains, “The UK marketplace is increasingly taking advantage of our fitting services alongside our chain products. This has been particularly noticeable in customers with large or high FLT units, where using our scissor lift and experienced engineers has enabled customers to more easily comply with current Health and Safety requirements.”
Chaintec’s larger warehouse in Bentley Bridge will stock a wider range of chain, including 3” pitch chain for use on larger FLT units and the specialist Zi-Co chain range which is designed to reduce wear rate when used in hostile environments. Furthermore, the new premises will be linked to Chaintec’s UK wide depots and workshops to deliver real-time information about Chaintec stock held anywhere in the country. Instant access to all Chaintec stock, combined with same day collection and next day delivery on off-the-shelf chain, will ensure that Chaintec enhances its reputation for exceptional service.
The Midlands office is part of a UK network that provides customers with access to local experts who can ensure that the right chain is delivered first time. The network also delivers and fits chains on the customer site, a service that is increasing in popularity. Chaintec’s value-added services take the burden away from the service manager and improve the accuracy and consistency of chain supply, so reducing downtime for each unit.
Chaintec has over 15 years experience servicing the forklift replacement market, and their product range includes the acclaimed Zi-Co coated chain which extends the life of chains operating in hostile environments. The company has a reputation for expertise and service and their industry-leading database of trucks, model numbers and OEM part numbers enables the customer services team to identify the correct chain for any unit.
