Wood Waste Recycling Ltd has been awarded a grant from WRAP to help with diversifying wood from landfill and increasing the amount of recycled wood in the West Midlands area.
The family run, Birmingham based organisation has used the grant to invest in a new Vermeer HG6000 grinder to help accommodate for the increased tonnage from the recently developed marketing scheme. The machine has already increased the recycled tonnage per hour and the company is excited by the possible prospect it has brought to the business.
Wood Waste Recycling Ltd hopes to encourage local businesses to recycle all types of wood by offering free site clearances when ordering pallets and also advice, on how to manage their wood waste.
Carly Tropman who worked to receive the grant says “We are very happy with the new machine, as the old one would simply not cope with the development of the business. Out with the old in with the new I say.”
Wood waste Recycling Ltd is certainly on the up, and hopes to put the machine to good use, with their friendly staff waiting to give you advice and help you recycle.
