Swisslog have successfully installed their WarehouseManager™ software at Wincanton’s Britvic site, maintaining service levels of 99.8% without interruption during implementation.
Wincanton’s site in Lutterworth is the National Distribution Centre for Britvic, one of the two leading soft drinks businesses in Great Britain and Ireland.
Wincanton’s selection process included a comparison of several leading WMS solutions in the market, where Swisslog’s solution was selected above the others. Once awarded the contract, Swisslog carried out extensive testing between their WMS platform and Britvic’s operations in order to ensure an optimal integration.
Swisslog successfully coordinated the replacement in a live environment, whilst keeping to time and budget plans.

Swisslog’s WMS provides an interface between Britvic’s SAP Host and the local Movement Control System for the existing Automation on site.
