Airflow Systems announce the departure of the first load of unique machines and spacers destined for one of the most important wholesale and retail suppliers of meat and poultry in Russia. The Airflow SR1P machine is unique in that it allows the operator to remove freezer spacers and to change the pallet, from wood to plastic or visa versa, without lifting the pallet or even touching a box of product all within 90 seconds. Airflow Managing Director Stephen Wildgoose says “The order which is being delivered to a company in Moscow is hopefully the beginning of many orders for the unique machine to Russia.”
The Airflow SR1P machine is one of the top machines in the Airflow range, as it allows for any height pallet of product and any size 1200 x 1000, 1200 x 800 or even 1200 x 1200 including freezer spacers, or not as the case may be to be removed, and the timber pallet lowered to the floor for changing. None of the machines in the Airflow range require a ramp at the front as they lower everything flat to the floor.
You can also load all the machines with a hand pallet truck.
All the machines are made of heavy duty steel and are designed in house using the latest computer aided design techniques. The full range begins with the basic “Pallex” machine which is designed to allow pallets to be changed without lifting the pallet or boxes in under 60 seconds.
They also make machines which allow the pallets of product to be split into 2 or 3 sections, and/or the timber pallet lowered to the floor for changing, also machines for inserting and removing any type of freezer spacers (SR2) and changing pallets, and machines for completely inverting the product, for delivery to supermarkets or printing factories.
The latest inverter is the “Backsaver Genie” machine which allows the operator to remove boxes from tall pallets, and boxes from the lower layers, all at waist height, thus complying with the current legislation on manual handling.
All the machines in the Airflow range can be manufactured in Stainless Steel, powder coated, or painted and can be as cheap and simple, or all singing all dancing, as required.
