High performance Herongripa is providing employees with healthy and safe working conditions at the DHL food and packaging distribution centre in Cannock. The matting is laid on both sides of the conveyor line used for processing and repackaging of goods. It is highly slip resistant and comfortable to stand on which makes it safe underfoot while reducing working fatigue. Herongripa is widely used on assembly lines and in factories. Its special characteristics have particular benefits for the food and drink processing industries.
For example, the open grid format is wider than normal to facilitate efficient dispersal of waste products and liquids or the retention of slippery matter on the surface. Another benefit is that it is manufactured from animal fat resistant vinyl which, with Sanitized additives, provides anti-fungal and anti-microbial protection. This makes it ideal for abattoirs or meat processing and packaging.
The light orange matting will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and is easy to cut and fit on site. It is available in 5 and 10m long rolls, which minimize the number of seams, and in widths of 60, 91 and 122cm. Factory fitted profiles are also available providing ramped edges suitable for trolleys.
