Prenton based conveyor manufacturer Sovex Systems has today rolled out its latest vehicle loading boom conveyor. The Sovex Roller Loader is different because it features free running rollers and uses gravity to transport parcels. “Boom conveyors fitted with rollers are ideal for loading vehicles. Using gravity they are fast, efficient and less costly than the powered alternative:” Explains David Lindfield, Managing Director of the company.
Roller conveyors are widely used because they are simple, fast and cost effective. The Sovex Roller Loader combines the advantages of free running rollers with proven extending boom conveyor designs to produce a highly efficient vehicle loading device.
Declined from the loading dock into the vehicle trailer, a Sovex Roller Loader uses gravity to transport goods. As the vehicle fills the operator can retract the boom using its optional powered extend/retract system to maintain a comfortable loading position.
Right now, the company is offering the Roller Loader with three alternative roller widths and three different extensions to cover the majority of applications. Customers can specify additional options to tailor the conveyor to their application. These include traversing chassis, full underguarding and gallows lighting.
With internet shopping and home deliveries booming, Sovex Systems is going through a period of unprecedented demand for its products. The new telescopic Roller Loader will continue that trend to the delight of David and his colleagues.
