When you are at the forefront of holiday home design and manufacture, Willerby Holiday Homes had to ensure that their investment in a high speed door matched their own commitment in offering the highest specified product at affordable prices. Therefore Willerby turned to Klimate High Speed Doors, a leading specialist designer and manufacturer based in the UK, to enhance their Humberside manufacturing facility with the investment of an Ardent high speed door. The latest addition confirms Willerby’s commitment to continue investing in proven technology and the standardisation of the type of doors, by now having 15 Ardent doors integrated into various production areas throughout the site.
The latest installation is part of Willerby Holiday Homes’ improvement to their cabshop facility at their Marfleet Lane manufacturing plant, in Hull.
Graham Kemp from Willerby Holiday Homes, comments “we felt that having invested in a new heating system within our cabshop production facility, we had to ensure that the type of door we install would endeavour to control our working temperature as we have staff working very close to the entrance. This has been achieved through the quality and reliability of the high speed door. Another benefit we have achieved from installing the door is, it has allowed our traffic in and out of the area, which is busy, to flow smoothly without compromising production”.
With high speed adjustable opening and closing speeds of up to 2 metres per second, the Ardent door has enabled Willerby to generate major improvements in both energy management, working temperature conditions and maximise efficiency in production areas.
With the Ardent range of doors providing valuable energy savings by minimising heat loss, companies are also benefiting from low maintenance costs. This is due to simplistic nature of the doors. Klimate are able to train customer’s own maintenance personnel on the workings of the door. Any minimal maintenance or replacement work can be quickly and easily undertaken in-house, along with technical faults that can be rectified by liasing in conjunction with Klimate’s technical support, drastically reducing call out and repair costs.
Graham Kemp also reiterated, “dealing with one supplier for our high speed door requirements, it minimises the number of suppliers and type of doors on site and in return our own maintenance team get to know how to maintain and repair the doors, therefore eliminating costly down time and lost production”.
