Optimax® is known and respected by the packaging industry for its range of premium quality packaging machinery. Recent additions to its portfolio are the PSW001 and PSW001 semi-auto pallet stretch wrapping turntables.
Powered by a standard 240 volt, 13 amp supply, both models come with useful features such as soft start/stop and cycle pause, pallet height photo sensor, magnetic brake and ‘home position’, which starts and stops the turntable in the same position for rapid loading and unloading and use in restricted spaces. A safety switch prevents foot pinch during operation and both models may be fitted with an optional ramp, for use with pallet trucks.
Adjustable tension ensures that pallet loads are held securely in place without damage being caused by over tensioning, and different wrapping patterns can be chosen according to load configuration.
The PSW001 features a simple to use control panel which provides a choice of two wrapping configurations. Both models feature pallet height photo sensor control – essential when using black stretch film or wrapping dark items.
The PSW002 offers more advanced features including powered film pre-stretch, which expands the film length to four times its original length. This minimises film usage whilst ensuring optimum load stability.
Its electronic control panel rotates through 180 degrees, enabling ease of operation from multiple positions, and allows programming of automatic and manual functions, with troubleshooting information displayed on its digital display.
Automatic film puncture prevents air entrapment between layers of film so they bond more effectively for a strong hold, and the PSW002 also features a manual reinforced strapping mode that enables strap to be converted into a strong, narrow strap at critical points of the cycle.
Film tension, turntable rotation speed and film carriage rise/fall speed are all independently adjustable for optimum wrapping.
