Having been acquired by MiTek Inc in 2017, MiTek Mezzanine Systems Ltd has completed the final administrative step in its transition into the global MiTek® group. With effect from 4 July, the company has been formally merged with MiTek Inc’s UK operation, MiTek Industries Ltd. Known simply as MiTek, this organisation has traditionally focused on the homebuilding solutions from MiTek Inc’s portfolio.
As well as changes to the name and logo to drop ‘Mezzanine Systems’, the merger entails the adoption of the registered address and number of MiTek Industries Ltd, based in Dudley. The mezzanine supplier’s European office will be merged into MiTek GmbH later in the summer. “This is the final step of our planned transition into the MiTek group,” commented Matt Loveday, Managing Director, “and it’s very much business as usual.”
With the mezzanine company having clocked up its highest ever single month of revenue in May, MiTek is set to retain its position as the UK’s number 1 mezzanine supplier for the seventh consecutive year. “With business buoyant,” continued Matt Loveday, “we’ve hired 25% more staff – across design, project management and site management – over the past six months so that we continue to provide the high levels of service and rapid delivery for which we are renowned.”
