Following a competitive tendering process, Orchard House Foods has awarded its materials handling contract to Impact Handling.

Not only was the required fleet size and make up determined by the site needs analysis, but also the level of service support needed to help maximise fleet utilisation and minimise costs. A dedicated on-site engineer reporting to the contract manager helps to continually monitor the fleet and collate the data for regular management reporting. Following simple KPI’s such as hours, downtime and expenditure on items outside the rental costs is only part of the picture. First hand knowledge of site conditions and the operating requirements adds to the maintenance planning that helps to keep the operation as efficient as possible. The proximity of Impact Handling’s Corby depot also adds to the responsive service.
