The global leader since 2001, TICO topped the world ranking lists published in late 2008 by European magazines Logistik Journal and DHF. The ranking was based on TICO’s results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2008. During this period, TICO reported turnover amounting to more than €4.8 billion for its global materials handling operations.

As part of the TICO family, that commands over a 20% share of the material handling market globally, Toyota Material Handling UK represents both the Toyota and BT warehouse brands, providing a complete solution for businesses in the UK.

The announcement of the eighth consecutive number one ranking rounded off a successful year for the organisation, TICO was number 31 in Fortune Magazine’s 2008 list of the world’s 50 most admired companies and number 479 in the 2008 Fortune Global 500 list of the world’s largest corporations. TICO’s total net sales in fiscal year 2008 exceeded €12.3 billion for its five business divisions.
