DP World has agreed to acquire six logistics sites from GXO Logistics following a CMA requirement tied to GXO’s takeover of Wincanton. The facilities, which serve grocery retailers including Asda, Sainsbury’s and the Co-op, offer more than two million square feet of warehouse capacity and employ around 2,000 people.
Jungheinrich AG is set to acquire Australian rental specialist All Lift Forklifts in a move aimed at expanding its presence in the country’s material handling equipment market. Headquartered in Sydney, All Lift operates six locations across Australia and the acquisition will bolster Jungheinrich’s position and increase its reach in the rental segment.
Hörmann Transdek has supplied and installed a Vehicle-to-Ground (V2G) lift at Next’s South Elmsall distribution centre, supporting a new warehouse extension at the West Yorkshire site. The lift is designed to provide level-access loading and unloading for a wide range of vehicles, from vans to double-deck trailers.
