New partnership strengthens The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge’s focus on inclusion, opportunity and collaboration as registrations open for 2027.

Road to Logistics has been named Delivery Partner for The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge 2027, bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to creating greater opportunity, inclusion and positive change across the logistics sector.

As Delivery Partner, Road to Logistics will play a key role in supporting the delivery of #BLDC2027, which returns to Newark Showground on Thursday 17 June 2027.

Road to Logistics is a national not-for-profit training organisation dedicated to bringing new talent into the transport and logistics industry, helping people develop the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to build sustainable careers. Its work helps the sector address skills shortages by creating new routes into logistics.

Road to Logistics joins ongoing supporters including the Road Haulage Association (RHA), Forkliftaction, Logistics UK, Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Expo, UKWA, BIFA (British International Freight Association), Generation Logistics, IWLEX and Warehouse and Logistics News.

Vicky Binley, Director of Nimble Media Ltd, said: “Road to Logistics shares our belief that a stronger logistics industry is one that creates opportunities for people from all backgrounds, and that shared focus on opportunity, inclusion and opening doors makes this partnership a natural fit for the event, which brings organisations and teams from across the sector together to demonstrate the value of diverse people, perspectives and experiences. We have always believed that the greatest impact comes when the industry works together, and we are incredibly pleased to have them alongside us as we continue to grow #BLDC2027 and its impact.

“The event is about much more than bringing people together for one day. It is about creating stronger teams, opening conversations, challenging the way we think and showing what can be achieved when people with different experiences and perspectives are given the opportunity to contribute. We are incredibly excited about what we can achieve together in 2027.”

Jen Swain MBE, Managing Director of Road to Logistics, said: “Road to Logistics is excited to partner with The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge. The event has grown into a major annual meeting point for the industry, combining team-building, networking and friendly competition with a clear message: workplaces are stronger when different people, perspectives and experiences are valued.

“The lasting impact of attending this event is demonstrated by the learnings the teams take back to the business and supports our ongoing message and remit – Logistics is an industry with a place for everyone.”

Alongside Road to Logistics, Nimble Media is delighted to continue its partnership with Transaid, which returns as the event’s official Charity Partner for 2027.

Transaid works with communities across sub-Saharan Africa to improve access to healthcare, road safety and professional driver training, helping transform lives through safe, available and sustainable transport.

Anna Giavedoni, Events Manager at Transaid, said: “We’re delighted to have the continued support of The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge and to be part of the event again in 2027. At Transaid, we work with a diverse range of people, communities and partners across sub-Saharan Africa, and we see first-hand the value that different perspectives and experiences bring. We’re proud to support the Challenge’s commitment to championing diversity and inclusion across the transport and logistics industry, and to creating a sector where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Team registrations and sponsorship opportunities for #BLDC2027 are now open. Organisations are encouraged to register early to secure their place and join colleagues from across the sector for a high-energy day designed to strengthen teams, build connections and put inclusive working into practice.

For businesses looking to engage employees, strengthen customer relationships, raise their profile and demonstrate a meaningful commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, #BLDC2027 offers an opportunity to put those commitments into action.
