Cheshire and Staffordshire-based warehouse and distribution provider Boughey Logistics has strengthened its fleet with the arrival of 53 new Volvo FH Aero tractor units and 110 new trailers from SDC Trailers as part of an ongoing investment programme focused on operational performance, driver experience and customer service.

The latest additions have been delivered in partnership with Thomas Hardie Commercials and SDC Trailers, two long-standing suppliers to Boughey Logistics, and form part of a wider fleet renewal strategy under the company’s leadership team.

The new Volvo FH Aero units are among the first vehicles to feature an updated Boughey Logistics livery, introducing a refreshed look across the fleet while maintaining the company’s strong visual presence on the road. The vehicles have been selected for their fuel efficiency, driver comfort and operational reliability, supporting Boughey Logistics’ focus on delivering sustainable and dependable logistics services for customers across the UK.

Steve Bridge, Logistics Director at Boughey Logistics, said: “This investment demonstrates our commitment to operating a modern, efficient and reliable fleet for both our colleagues and our customers. The Volvo FH Aero units have impressed us with their performance, fuel efficiency and driver comfort, making them a natural choice as we continue to evolve our fleet.

“Alongside the new vehicles, the arrival of the SDC trailers and the introduction of our refreshed fleet livery marks an exciting new chapter for Boughey Logistics. The updated design reflects who we are as a business today, while our new strapline, Personal Service, Powerful Delivery, captures the combination of customer focus and operational strength that underpins everything we do.”

Steve Wilson, Sales Director at Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd, said: “We are incredibly proud of our long-standing partnership with Boughey Logistics, a relationship that has been built over the past 25 years on mutual trust, close collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence.”
