At the recent NFPA trade show in Las Vegas (USA), WAGNER unveiled its new TITANUS REX® aspirating smoke detector to the international public for the first time. The latest generation of the proven TITANUS® product family builds on many years of experience in fire detection and has been fundamentally redesigned through targeted innovations in key functions. The VdS-certified TITANUS REX® combines high-level sensitivity, modularity, and end-to-end digitalisation. This technology, optimised for energy efficiency, ensures particularly resource-efficient operation and supports modern, sustainability-orientated security solutions. Users’ business continuity is also ensured by unprecedented immunity to nuisance alarms. Additional product certifications, such as UL and AFNOR, are expected shortly.

At the technological heart of TITANUS REX® lies the new W1 technology. This technology combines highly sensitive detection of smoke particles with intelligent signal processing. The technologically advanced fire pattern recognition system LOGIC·SENS® PLUS accurately evaluates the data in the context of ambient conditions. This enables particularly early fire detection while providing a high degree of immunity to nuisance alarms.
The system’s operation has also been consistently optimised. TITANUS REX® is highly energy-efficient. Its specialised sensor technology and modern, energy-efficient components reduce power consumption and allow the power supply to be sized according to actual needs. For operators, this means reliable, stable fire detection combined with resource-efficient operation.
