The West Midlands is hosting a dense programme of logistics and supply chain activity, with the NEC Birmingham once again acting as a focal point for the sector. Multimodal 2026 returns alongside Warehouse .& Yard., eDX and the Road Transport Expo (RTX), bringing together multiple strands of the UK Logistics Week over three days.
Multimodal 2026 brings together a broad cross-section of the supply chain and logistics sector, covering areas from freight transport and warehousing to intralogistics and technology. Alongside the exhibition, the event features a free conference programme with more than 100 sessions involving over 120 industry speakers. Key themes include AI-driven optimisation, digital visibility, labour availability and the practical challenges of operating more sustainable warehouse operations.
At Warehouse. & Yard. 2026, Podloc and The Barcode Warehouse (Stand D24) will be exhibiting together, reflecting their long-standing collaboration in logistics technology. The joint stand will focus on mobile device management and data capture in warehouse and yard environments. Podloc will outline how device management platforms are being used to improve visibility and control across large mobile estates, while The Barcode Warehouse will demonstrate recent handheld devices from Zebra, including the TC5x and TC7x models, aimed at high-intensity logistics operations.
CopriSystems (Stand D14) who have been designing industrial warehouse buildings for more than three decades report growing interest in temporary and adaptable structures. Such solutions allow businesses to increase capacity without the long-term financial and planning commitments associated with permanent construction or fixed rental agreements, offering a more flexible response to changing operational requirements.
John Scott Works Ltd (Stand D6) will be presenting its work in the design and installation of bespoke mezzanine floors. Specialising in cold-formed steel structures, the business focuses on helping warehouse and industrial operators make use of unused vertical space as operational requirements change.
Antalis Packaging (Stand 9020) at the eDelivery Expo will advise businesses on reviewing and redesigning packaging, with a focus on improving operational performance. At the event, the company will present a range of technologies and consultancy services aimed at e-commerce, fulfilment and logistics operations. Exhibits will include smart packaging design services, premium and protective packaging, corrugated systems, packaging automation technologies, and Ranpak solutions such as FillPak Mini. Antalis will also be introducing its new carbon calculator.
Warehouse & Logistics News will be appearing at Multimodal, so if you’re at the show do come and visit us on Stand 4020. Enjoy the show.
