Under the theme ‘rise to new dimensions’, KNAPP is inviting LogiMAT visitors to discover new standards of innovation, efficiency and sustainability in warehouse and production environments.

The KNAPP Brain AI platform will be launched at LogiMAT.

The company will present its automation and software – the most extensive solution portfolio on the market – across two stands at LogiMAT from 24 to 26 March. Highlights include live exhibits of KNAPP’s AeroBot warehouse robotics system and Open Shuttle autonomous mobile robots, as well as the launch of KNAPP Brain, the first AI platform for intelligent value chains.

See AeroBot in action

KNAPP’s award-winning AeroBot solution features intelligent bots that move in three dimensions to store, retrieve and transport loads. The rack-climbing bots work independently to access all areas of the warehouse, resulting in high availability and reliable operation.

Storing goods four deep to maximise storage density, AeroBot is ideal as a combined storage and picking solution for e-commerce, micro fulfilment or omnichannel fulfilment, as well as being suitable for manufacturing applications. The design of the system makes it fast to implement and scalable – add locations for more storage, or bots to boost performance.

Launch of KNAPP Brain

KNAPP will use LogiMAT as the launchpad for KNAPP Brain, its AI platform for intelligent value chains. The first solution of its kind to combine several different AI-powered software systems under one umbrella, KNAPP Brain not only controls processes, but plans ahead too. It offers solutions for the entire value chain, processing complex information to accelerate and enhance decision-making, from resource planning to optimised order fulfilment.

Proven technologies

KNAPP will showcase its full range of technologies for handling totes, trays, cartons, pallets, hanging garments, flat packs and other single items. Key solutions include the Pick-it-Easy Robot fulfilment system; the high-performance Evo Shuttle storage system; a comprehensive range of sorters, including the AutoPocket system; and the Open Shuttle autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

A live exhibit of KNAPP’s Open Shuttles will demonstrate how these AMRs optimise transport processes and adapt flexibly to customer needs. Suitable for handling containers, cartons, stillages and pallets (UK, Euro, Half and CHEP), they use AI-powered navigation to link production and warehouse areas seamlessly and safely.

Software expertise

As well as demonstrating its credentials in robotics, KNAPP will showcase its extensive portfolio of software and digital service solutions at LogiMAT. KNAPP’s KiSoft software suite supports end-to-end operational control, analysis and integration, with many of its tools supercharged by AI.

The brand-new KiSoft Delivery Solution sets new standards in the digital interplay between intra- and extralogistics by connecting warehouses, transport and delivery in real time. KiSoft Delivery Solution supports next- and same-day delivery by calculating delivery windows dynamically, optimising routes and monitoring vehicle capacity, traffic and customer preferences. SAP® by KNAPP rounds out the company’s software portfolio, offering seamless integration into SAP system landscapes.

Lifetime support

KNAPP is renowned for its customer service, which forms the basis of its successful long-term partnerships with clients worldwide. At LogiMAT, KNAPP will present its new service concept for the AeroBot system and showcase the advantages of its 24/7/365 real-time monitoring solution, Remote Control Centre.

“We provide conventional and digital services 24/7 to support and enhance our customers’ automation throughout its life cycle,” says Craig Rollason, Managing Director of KNAPP UK. “As well as providing reactive field service, we have resident teams of engineers at many of our customers’ sites. They provide a data-driven, proactive approach to service management to maximise system availability and performance, helping to deliver a competitive edge for our customers.”
