Jungheinrich has won two iF Design Awards 2026 for two of its products. The autonomous mobile robot EAE 212a and the reach truck ETV 216i have received the prestigious award in the Product Design category. The international competition honours solutions that convincingly combine design, efficiency, user-friendliness and sustainability. Both Jungheinrich products prevailed over more than 10,000 entries from 68 countries.

The EAE 212a mobile robot impressed the jury with its clear, functional design, which highlights its intuitive usability and high efficiency. The EAE 212a belongs to a new generation of autonomous mobile robots and was developed for flexible and safe use in dynamic warehouse environments. Its compact design facilitates integration into existing structures, while reliable navigation, a high degree of autonomy and intelligent software functions – including over-the-air updates – enable scalable material flow and make the system future-proof in the long term.

The ETV 216i reach truck was also recognised for its sophisticated product design. As the world’s first reach truck with a permanently installed lithium-ion battery, it offers a particularly compact design that ensures optimum all-round visibility and high manoeuvrability. The clear design and ergonomic layout create a working environment that increases efficiency, safety and comfort in equal measure, even in narrow aisles or demanding areas of application. Its powerful technology makes the ETV 216i a reliable partner in intensive warehouse operations.

“The double award underlines Jungheinrich’s commitment to a holistic approach to design, technology and user orientation. Both award-winning products impressively demonstrate how intelligent product design solves specific challenges in the material handling industry and creates tangible added value in daily operations,” says Till Muhl, Jungheinrich Head of Industrial Design at Jungheinrich. “With the EAE 212a and the ETV 216i, Jungheinrich is sending a strong signal for forward-looking material handling at the highest international level,” says Muhl.
