JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business and a leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, recently showcased a broad selection of access equipment at Vertikal Days 2026, which took place 9-10 September at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire.

JLG presented a product portfolio designed around the realities of modern job sites and rental market demands, including applications ranging from internal maintenance and fit-out work to high-reach outdoor construction job sites.

The event also provided visitors with an opportunity to learn about JLG’s new long-term strategic partnership with Access Platform Sales (APS). Building on a long-standing relationship with JLG, APS has successfully represented Hinowa (part of JLG since 2023) for 20 years and, since early 2026, as an AUSA distributor (part of JLG since 2024). Effective 1 May, APS also became a non-exclusive distributor for JLG and Power Towers equipment across Great Britain.

Portfolio Designed for Diverse Access Applications

The products displayed at Vertikal Days demonstrated how JLG’s access portfolio supports work across a range of heights, environments and job site conditions. From compact, push-around platforms designed for internal tasks to electric equipment for congested work areas and an articulated boom lift for high-reach applications, the stand gave visitors an opportunity to explore solutions for a variety of fleet and application needs.

JLG 1500AJP Ultra Boom Series Boom Lift

When working 12 storeys high or more, JLG Ultra Series boom lifts are designed for job sites that demand operators work higher and reach farther.

Its controlled arc regulates speeds at the edges of the work envelope so that operators feel the same velocity in all positions for enhanced comfort. The jib pivots vertically and horizontally for better access to elevated worksites. Equipped with JLG’s exclusive QuikStik® boom design, the 1500AJP provides efficient cycle speeds from ground to full elevation in 180 seconds, enabling operators to spend more time working and less time positioning.

JLG EC450AJ Compact Electric Boom Lift

The JLG EC450AJ Compact articulated electric boom lift combines compact dimensions, rough-terrain capability and zero-emission operation in a lightweight package designed for congested job sites. Its lightweight design also allows two units to be transported on a single low-bed trailer, which can help reduce logistics costs and improve fleet flexibility.

JLG ES1930M Micro-Sized Scissor Lift

JLG also highlighted its growing line of electric scissor lifts designed for modern indoor environments, including the new ES1930M micro-sized model, designed for confined workspaces such as data centres, schools, airports and facilities maintenance applications.

The ES1930M marks JLG’s entry into the rapidly growing micro-sized scissor lift category, expanding the company’s access equipment offering with a model optimised for urban construction and fit-out applications.

Power Towers Low-Level Access Solutions

Power Towers represented JLG’s compact low-level access product portfolio with the Nano 30CS and Power Tower CS. These models are push-around, low-level access platforms that offer a compact, lightweight access solution for ceiling works, maintenance and internal fit-outs. Their small platforms allow access through 60cm x 60cm ceiling tiles, while the guarded deck and ground-level emergency lowering support safe working at height.

Visitors continued exploring the breadth of the JLG’s access and material handling offering on the adjacent APS stand (109).
