Dexory, the robotics and warehouse data intelligence company, has deployed SimScale’s Engineering AI to accelerate the engineering workflows used to design and test autonomous warehouse robots.
Building on its existing use of SimScale’s AI-native cloud simulation platform, Dexory will use Engineering AI to help engineers identify the root cause of structural component failures more quickly, automatically explore multiple design variations through simulation, and create a searchable engineering knowledge base from previous projects.
As warehouse robotics adoption accelerates, engineering teams face increasing pressure to shorten product development cycles while maintaining performance and reliability. While AI has become central to the robots operating inside warehouses, Dexory’s SimScale programme reflects a broader shift across manufacturing, where AI is increasingly being embedded into the engineering processes used to design, simulate and optimise physical products.
With the global warehouse robotics market projected to reach $117 billion by 2034, from 14.7 billion in 2024, manufacturers are looking for new ways to accelerate product development without compromising engineering quality.
Dexory has deployed Engineering AI to reduce the time engineers spend investigating structural component failures by enabling more simulation iterations during critical design phases. The platform will also automate simulation reporting, making results easier to analyse, compare and share across engineering teams.
The programme will enable engineers to automatically run parameter sweeps, testing multiple design variables simultaneously and generating comparative results without manual configuration. Alongside this, AI agents will capture simulation knowledge from previous projects to create a searchable engineering memory, helping teams reuse proven approaches and preserve valuable expertise as the business grows.
Rather than focusing solely on productivity gains, the programme is designed to help Dexory understand where AI agents deliver the greatest value across engineering and establish best practices for their future adoption.
