With a new Experience Centre featuring a showroom, training facilities, and office space, the Hyster® and Yale® forklift brands are expanding their presence in Germany and neighboring countries. Karsten Groß, Mayor of Mörfelden-Walldorf, cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony on 16th June 2026.
With an extensive network of independent dealers, the Hyster® and Yale® forklift brands are represented throughout Europe. The facility near Frankfurt, Germany aims to also help strengthen connections in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in Turkey. In the fully equipped Experience Centre, visitors can test Hyster® and Yale® forklifts in various application areas. A reference project in Charlotte, NC (USA) and the training centre in Nijmegen, Netherlands, serve as models for the centre.
Many key Hyster and Yale customers have their headquarters in the region. With an annual volume of around 100,000 forklifts, Germany is the largest market in Europe. The Experience Centre brings dealers together and on June 24 and 25, 2026, independent brand representatives will gather for an annual “Dealer Conference.” During this event, they will gain an understanding of how the Experience Centre can be used for conceptual collaboration with customers or as a training centre for service personnel.
“Logistics is a key location factor for the Rhine-Main region. That is why we are pleased that an internationally successful U.S. corporation with renowned brands such as Hyster and Yale is investing here with us. At the opening, I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail with which the company adapts both the Experience Centre and the forklifts themselves to customer requirements,” explains Karsten Groß, Mayor of Mörfelden-Walldorf.
The Experience Centre for the Hyster and Yale forklift brands is located at SEGRO Park Mörfelden, Hessenring 15, 64546 Mörfelden-Walldorf, directly off the A5 and just ten minutes from Frankfurt Airport. The investment in the Mörfelden-Walldorf location is a key component of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling’s growth strategy in the German market for forklifts and warehouse technology.
