Antalis Packaging has introduced a new end-to-end packaging solution designed to help brands improve the impact, sustainability and efficiency of their packaging.

Available now, the Premium Packaging Solution offers a 360° service for businesses looking to review, redesign and manage branded packaging across their operations.

Aimed at businesses of all sizes, ecommerce retailers and specialist businesses, the service supports companies from initial packaging review through to design, production and stock management.

The service begins with a consultative packaging audit, where the Antalis team reviews a company’s existing packaging to identify opportunities for improvement.

This includes assessing current materials, structures and supply chains to determine what works well and where alternatives could offer better protection, improved sustainability or stronger brand presentation.

The team evaluates factors such as substrate selection, packaging performance, recyclability and cost efficiency before recommending suitable alternatives.

“Packaging must be fit for purpose, but it also plays an important role in shaping customer perception,” says Verity Mottram, Creative Design Lead at Antalis Premium Packaging. “Good packaging protects the product, but great packaging enhances the customer experience and reinforces the brand. We consider everything from materials and sustainability through to how packaging supports a company’s identity. In many cases, we can rationalise packaging ranges, reduce unnecessary materials and replace less sustainable options while still delivering a premium look and feel,” added Verity.

Once opportunities have been identified, Antalis’ Premium Packaging team can support the full development process, from structural and graphic design through to prototyping and production. This helps simplify procurement and reduces the need for multiple suppliers.

Drawing on Antalis’ extensive portfolio of creative papers, graphical boards, packaging materials and visual communications products, the team can recommend and source suitable materials while ensuring packaging remains both functional and visually aligned with a brand.

In addition to production, Antalis can manage packaging inventory and hold stock on behalf of customers, enabling businesses to call off packaging items when needed.

Antalis’ Premium Packaging offering covers a broad range of packaging formats, from luxury retail packaging to e-commerce solutions.

Products include rigid and flat-pack boxes, corrugated and carton board packaging, branded bags, reusable fabric packaging, mailing bags and protective packaging. Accessories such as ribbons, tissue paper, stickers and packing materials are also available to support a cohesive brand presentation.

Early projects have already demonstrated the value of a more strategic approach to packaging.

Emma Brown, Premium Packaging Lead at Antalis, commented, “In one recent example, Antalis worked with a leading online and high street retailer to redesign its gift boxes and retail bags. The new solution for the bags used fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, and for the boxes, we eliminated lamination and magnets. The packaging solutions are fully recyclable at the end of life. The redesign also enhanced the overall look and feel of the packaging, helping the retailer create a more premium experience.”

Antalis believes the service will be particularly valuable for businesses that want high-quality branded packaging but don’t have the internal resources to manage design, sourcing and production across multiple suppliers.
