What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

The most exciting part is working on the integration of innovative automation solutions that genuinely enhance warehouse efficiency. Knowing that our solutions at Movu Robotics make clients’ daily operations smoother and seeing their excitement as they realise the potential for improvement in their facilities is incredibly rewarding.

Who has inspired you most in your career?

Without any doubt, my brother. Watching him build his small company and constantly find innovative ways to improve efficiency was truly inspiring. His creativity and determination inspired me to apply similar principles on a larger scale, where the potential for impact is even greater. His drive and forward-thinking approach continue to motivate me to bring that same mindset to my work every day.

If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

I’d probably be a versatile robot, always adapting to the needs, ready to take on a variety of tasks.

If you had your time again, what would you do different?

I don’t believe in regrets; every experience, whether positive or challenging, has contributed to shaping my understanding of the industry and refining my approach to projects.

What’s your favourite pastime? Do you play a sport, follow a sport or support a team?

I’m very into staying active and challenging myself. I do some recreational running and swimming, and I also enjoy supporting my kids from the sideline as they compete in swimming at a much higher level.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened in your career?

One busy morning, I didn’t realise I was wearing mismatched socks until halfway through a client meeting. It became a light-hearted icebreaker!

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m great at troubleshooting complex problems. Whether it’s in work or life, I can think on my feet to find practical solutions quickly.

Who would be your favourite party guest?

Someone who could spark a meaningful debate or conversation—maybe an influential innovator or visionary leader who inspires fresh perspectives.

What is the greatest luxury in your life?

For me, it’s sharing a morning coffee with my family—a simple yet precious moment to connect, recharge, and plan the day ahead.

If you won the Lottery, what would you do?

I’d start a venture capital firm so that I could give others a boost to have a major impact in underexplored markets and products.

What’s your dream holiday?

Actually, it’s the kind of holiday we already do every year—worry-free time out-of-home with the family. Somewhere culturally rich, trekking through ancient cities or exploring unique landscapes that provide fresh perspectives.

What’s your favourite music album?

Not really an album, but I love retro music from the Zillion era. It has a nostalgic and energetic vibe that resonates with me.

What’s your favourite movie or Netflix series?

Without a doubt, Lupin.

What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

Stay curious and open to learning. This industry thrives on new ideas and perspectives, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how those differences come together to shape the future of automation and technology.
