With over thirty years in the industry, I founded Total Racking Solutions as a family run business out of a small warehouse in Yorkshire. We now supply some of the biggest companies in the UK. We pride ourselves on quality service and price and our ability to work to extremely tight deadlines and always deliver on time, going the extra mile for our customers.

We pride ourselves on providing a one stop solution of pallet racking systems for both large and small warehouse operations. We offer a full inhouse free design service and all our installations are carried out by SEMA registered fitters. We provide a streamlined service to give us the ability to work closely with our customers to meet their deadlines.
Which industry sectors are your customers in and which ones are growing fastest?
Our customer base spans many industries, we supply not only small start up businesses but also large PLCs including retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and logistics. The e-commerce and logistics sectors are currently experiencing the fastest growth, driven by the surge in online shopping and the ever-growing requirement for efficient warehousing solutions.

What are the major trends and developments affecting your category and your customers, and how are you responding?
The rapid acceleration of the logistics & warehousing industry, particularly during and post-pandemic, has changed customer expectations. Shoppers now expect faster deliveries, seamless online experiences, and transparent customer support. We are reacting by not only maximising warehouse space with pallet racking but also providing shelving and automated picking solutions.

We have recently fitted out a 900,000 square foot warehouse for a large logistics company with 16 metre high racking for 110,000 spaces in 5 months from initial enquiry to completed project.
How does business in 2024 compare to previous years? What’s your strategy for succeeding in the current climate?
Unlike most companies during the pandemic, we thrived due to an emergence of people wanting to organise their space. This trend continued and business in 2024 has shown an increased demand for storage solutions. Our strategy focuses on enhancing customer experience through personalised solutions, expanding our product range and strengthening our supply chain partnerships to mitigate any disruptions.
