Multimodal 2024 is almost ready to open its doors – and organisers have promised a jam-packed three days for visitors…

Robert Jervis, Event Director at Multimodal 2024.

Multimodal is the only UK, Irish and Northern European event for the freight and transport sector that embraces all modes of the supply chain; rail, sea/water, road and air as well as warehousing, logistics and IT. It’s here that you’ll be offered the opportunity to compare suppliers, modes and routes to help you decrease your costs, increase efficiencies and find greener supply chains, as well as being able to keep up to date with current and evolving trends and developments in the free-to-attend seminars and knowledge briefings.

The exhibition hall will feature over 275 companies showing the very latest technology and services to help shippers move their freight in a more sustainable way – be that by air, road, sea or rail. Visitors will also be able to see the latest in customs clearance technologies, market-leading warehousing solutions and, of course, port services – both inland and maritime.

The Multimodal Conferences will cover all modes of the supply chain – and also feature sessions on digital disruption, changing Customs regulations, Freeports, opportunities for Rail, Sustainability and digital skills acquisition.

Building on the success of the Multimodal Awards, the event is being expanded to further cater for demand in 2024. The Awards, sponsored by Logistics UK, are being hosted again by Kevin Keegan, in what promises to be both an important and enjoyable evening of the celebration of success. In total, fourteen awards will be bestowed.

Over 850 guests, including many of the VIPs from Multimodal, will enjoy a networking reception followed by a three course dinner and drinks, whilst being entertained at the glittering ceremony. The evening is staged at the jaw-dropping VOX at the NEC at 19.00 on the first day, Tuesday 11th June 2024.

To add an additional enjoyable element for visitors and exhibitors alike, Multimodal 2024 will feature a number of free social and networking events, including the Multimodal Mixer, sponsored by DP World at 17.00–19.00 in Hall 4 on the 12th June.

The organisers look forward to welcoming readers of Warehouse & Logistics News to what will be an enjoyable and profitable three days.
