Although it is important to maximise efficiency, it is equally important that fork lift truck drivers stay safe. With this in mind, the UK Material Handling Association has recently updated its Safety Alert addressing LPG fuel issues. This Safety Alert was issued following reports of users of LPG powered trucks experiencing issues with the start-up process. UKMHA understands that LPG fuel containing contamination not present historically is still being placed on the UK market and that the fuel standard BS 4250 does not provide adequate controls for this contamination. There is an ongoing HSE investigation and the problem continues to pose a risk to all LPG fuelled trucks, irrespective of manufacturer.

Clark presents a completely newly developed electric low-lift pallet truck with lithium-ion technology (Li-Ion).
