Hörmann UK have launched a range of double action doors particularly suited to the food production and distribution markets. Manufactured from polyethylene (PE500) or stainless steel, the doors are ideal for use in busy, high impact environments whilst meeting stringent hygiene standards. Both doors are available either as single or double leaf versions in a variety of colours and finishes. Resistant to moisture, acids, and alkalis, Hörmann double action doors are suitable for use in a range of climatic conditions within a temperature range of between -30°C to +60°C.

Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) has announced the launch of the Level 2 Award in Dock Leveller Safety in conjunction with The Association of Loading and Elevating Equipment Manufacturers (ALEM). Andy Georgiou, General Manager of Stertil Dock & Door Products and past president of ALEM, welcomes the development and introduction of the one-day course. He says, “We have collaborated with DHF for some time in the development and delivery of training courses relating to industrial doors. Based on the synergy between dock levellers and industrial doors, it made perfect sense to form this latest relationship.”
