At a time when the company celebrates its Decade of Growth, ambitious 3PL operator Europa Warehouse has launched a market busting pallet storage rate to support customers.

Recognising the challenging economic climate, Europa Warehouse has introduced the new pallet storage price specifically for customers looking for 3,000 pallet+ storage options in the Midlands logistics’ ‘golden triangle’.

The unique £1.49 per pallet per week rate is available exclusively at Europa’s newest £60m 3PL facility in Corby, Northants, and is launched as the logistics innovator celebrates a Decade of Growth since its acquisition by Andrew Baxter in 2013.

The market leading cost is supported by a broader offer at the Corby facility. This includes compelling rates for both manual and automated fulfilment services at the state-of-the-art 715,000 sq ft warehouse, which was opened in 2020 and doubled Europa’s warehouse portfolio.

Dionne Redpath, Chief Operating Officer and Europa Warehouse Director, comments: “For the past decade, Europa has been all about providing innovative solutions that ensure high-quality deliverables at a fair price. When Andrew opened Corby during the pandemic, this gave us the capacity to provide a range of value-added capabilities, from e-commerce fulfilment and pick and pack, to critical parts management.

“Then, a year later and to future-proof our warehouse offerings, we invested a further £11m in a cutting-edge automation system. So, in keeping with this continuous growth period, we’re really excited to bring this new price concept to a tough market, supporting new and existing customers with our first-class fulfilment service at a new low rate.”

Europa has award-winning sites in Dartford, Birmingham and Corby, offering over one million sq. ft combined of dedicated warehouse and logistics space, supporting leading brands in the retail and ecommerce sectors.

The team at Corby can offer support for the processing, packing, and storage of products for startups and SMEs. These businesses, which need properly coordinated third-party 3PL processes, can then offer customers an unrivalled order experience.

Corby’s expansive racking has been designed to provide optimised storage, allowing Europa Warehouse to offer compelling rates for customers. This includes narrow aisles offering maximum storage capacity.

As mentioned by Dionne, the site also houses an impressive £11m high-tech automation system, which optimises picking rates and increases throughput. Volumes of goods passing through the warehouse have increased by 350 per cent since its launch in 2020, from 8,000 units per day to 28,000 per day. This increase has been a remarkable milestone in Europa Worldwide Group’s Decade of Growth journey and positions them well for further expansion.

Europa Warehouse already supports leading brands in the retail and ecommerce sector as well as having bonded facilities. Its experience as an industry-leading 3PL provider and bonded warehouse helps ecommerce businesses with demand planning and visibility to scale up.

Dionne continued: “It is a challenging time when businesses are having to wrestle with rising costs and inflation. With the ongoing impact of increased costs and squeezed budgets, as a logistics supplier we play a pivotal role in supporting customers, by reducing costs whilst supplying the highest quality service.

“From the outset we work in partnership with our customers to facilitate their own growth. Europa’s expertise, team best practice and innovative technology, harnessed over the last decade, combines to slicken and simplify complex supply chains – vital at any time, but more so in today’s unpredictable market.”

Europa Warehouse is part of Europa Worldwide Group, an ambitious independent logistics operator with two other divisions, Europa Road and Europa Air & Sea. The company has been featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three years. The group employs over 1,400 people with 29 international sites in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Europe, Hong Kong, China and the UAE. The global operator recently reported a record turnover of £302m for the last 12 months, as of August 2022, and remains on track with its ambitious investment programme.
