Union Industries has unveiled its new innovative online Door Configurator, which enables its customers to specify their high-speed industrial roller door requirements and increase efficiency.
The Leeds-based, employee-owned company’s investment in new technology supports the design process and emphasises its focus on delivering exceptional, tailor-made service.
Customers will be able to input basic information, starting with the dimensions, and then make selections from a range of options.
Customisations will include door location, door environment, frame finish, curtain/blade colour, activation & features, which assist Union’s design and build engineers to produce a door based on what has been selected in the Door Configurator.
Once a prospective customer has configured their door, they will then engage with Union’s team of experienced Technical Sales Engineers who will help develop designs further and take the project through to installation.
Users will be able to register their details and view ‘Your Perfect Door’, as well as the ability to download technical specifications, drawings and other information.
Union Industries is both designer and manufacturer, as well as installer of rapid-rise doors. The fast-action roller doors in its range are utilised in many different industry sectors and in various environments, including cold stores where it is vital to maintain the integrity of the freezer environment.
The company’s market-leading range of high-speed industrial rapid roller doors are commonly regarded as the best in class. The current range includes the Ramdoor, Bulldoor, Matadoor, Lion Door, Picadoor and the unique Eiger Freezer Door.
The doors offer a range of innovative features including a ‘Crash-Out and Auto-Reset’ system on certain models to reduce bottom beam damage and keep downtime to a minimum.
These fast-acting doors are installed in distribution centres, warehouses, factories and storage facilities to improve logistics, save heat loss and in the case of the Eiger Door, maintain the integrity and temperature control in freezer environments.
