Westgate Global have designed and installed a Flexiwall heavy duty fabric partition wall at one of Associated British Ports Liverpool stores.
This project is a great example of how Flexiwall can be customised to suit a project’s specific needs and the system’s flexibility to be adapted to suit various situations, scenarios, and environments. Due to the ABP stores port side location, the space dividing solution included one run of horizontal panels. These allowed for 5-ton wind straps to be attached to structural steel work for wind loading with a rigid foam seal between purlins.
Made of heavy duty, grey coloured, polyester reinforced PVC, fire-retardant material, the Flexiwall also contained a steel door for pedestrian access.
Not only does Flexiwall offer a 99% dust tight seal (ideal for projects needing dust, temperature, or tainting control), it is also quick-to-install and can be reconfigured or relocated should business needs change.
Michael Murphy, Divisional Project Manager for Associated British Ports said “We used this system in Garston within the LRS warehouse to segregate operations. Benefit was very cost effective with a super quick install time – perfect while we decide on a long-term outcome for the unit. The customer loves it as it more than does what it says!”
