Demonstrating their growth potential, reusable packaging specialist Tosca has finalised a new 10-year lease from Onward Holdings Ltd, doubling the company’s warehousing capacity at the Yorkshire site. The deal combines two 30,000sqft units on the Green Lane Industrial Park in Featherstone. Tosca, a global leader in reusable plastic packaging and performance pooling solutions with a portfolio including crates, pallets, bulk containers, and more, acquired a warehouse at the location around eight years ago shortly after the facility was built.

Recognising creativity, DeliveryApp, the technology-based logistics platform has announced that it has selected TrunkBBI as its agency partner for Digital PR and SEO. Following a competitive pitch process, integrated creative and activation agency, TrunkBBI, headquartered in Manchester, has been appointed to work with the innovative deltech platform to support digital activation. The agency has been challenged with elevating DeliveryApp’s brand awareness amongst key audiences as they head into the new year and supporting with ambitious long-term goals to become the first carbon positive delivery platform in the UK.

Expanding their horizons, the Stertil Group, part of Citadel Enterprises and located in Kootstertille, the Netherlands, proudly announces the takeover of the business activities of Beissbarth GmbH. The company Beissbarth Automotive Testing Solutions GmbH now belongs to the Stertil Group and thus continues the company’s history of more than 120 years. This acquisition demonstrates yet again that the Stertil Group is committed to the continued investment in providing world class vehicle equipment solutions for the maintenance, repair and service equipment industries for both private and public workshops, high class automotive brands and OE manufacturers around the world, according to our doors and curtains feature.

Breaking new ground, UPN’s “Drive Service Quality” initiative has been given a significant boost by the addition of three important new member partners – Uniserve Group, STR Logistics and DNR Haulage, our pallet networks feature reveals.

In automation news, Exotec has announced that its UK partner LAC Logistics Automation has signed a contract to deploy Exotec’s Skypod system to iForce, the UK’s premier solutions provider for multi-channel fulfilment and returns. LAC’s new customer acquirement will accelerate Exotec’s expansion into the UK market through the partnership, says our warehouse automation and robotics feature. This is Exotec’s first major UK customer and represents a landmark deal for the French business.
