Finding a new product range that adds value to our customers, energises the sales team and is profitable.

There wouldn’t be one main person, but several visionaries who have seen through today’s ‘clutter’ to a worthwhile objective.

If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

Probably a lidded folding eurocontainer – detailed design for frequent re-use.

If you had your time again, what would you do different?

Learn more about economics and geo-political events and how these affect business decisons.

What’s your favourite pastime?

Spending time with family.

Do you play a sport, follow a sport or support a team?

Not as such.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened in your career?

Having to cancel bulk orders placed without permission.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Must be very hidden, as not aware of anything valuable today.

What is the greatest luxury in your life?

Well, there’s something about a smokey single malt.

What’s your dream holiday?

Cruise ship somewhere sunny.

The Planets by Gustav Holzt.

What’s your favourite movie or Netflix series?

Nothing specific, but documentaries on 20th century people and events who have shaped history would be my ‘go-to.’

What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

Find out what ‘part of the field’ you want to play in and do it well.
