Elanders UK, part of the global Elanders group, has announced a number of key senior appointments at its dedicated packaging site in Bellshill, Scotland.
Paul Murphy, formerly compliance manager at the company’s UK headquarters in North Tyneside, is appointed operations manager.
Laurence Smith is appointed senior business development manager, joining from Service Graphics Limited where he held an identical role.
He will have a strong focus on the continued growth of the company’s packaging services in Scotland.
Evelyn Gibson also joins the team as administrative assistant.
Elanders UK is part of Elanders Group, a global partner for integrated supply chain solutions with over 90 operations across four continents. It provides flexible and agile solutions for complex supply chains, providing customers with value-added services such as print and packaging resources which are integrated into its core business model.
Paul Murphy, said: “I have been at Elanders UK for five years, working in a number of positions, most recently as compliance manager.
“The Bellshill site currently specialises in a variety of eco-friendly packaging. We work in partnership with a range of different whisky, spirits, beauty and lifestyle brands, e-commerce retailers and much more, to provide innovative eco-packaging solutions.
“I want to continue to grow our team in Bellshill as we aim to become a packaging centre of excellence within Elanders. As we grow this division of the business, we will encompass the full lifecycle of a product from design and delivery through to fulfilment, providing our loyal customers with a fully integrated offering.”
