Headquartered in Sydney, Australia with offices in the UK, France, Singapore, Japan and the USA, ICM Airport Technics is the global leader in the supply of state of the art baggage handling solutions. It is also the inventor of the self-service auto bag drop units used in the world’s best airport terminals. Inotec UK is ICM Airport Technics’ long-standing supplier of smart identification labels for its airport baggage solutions.

ICM Airport Technics has been supplied by inotec UK with its unique world-class in-mould RFID smart labels since 2010. Over the past ten years, ICM Airport Technics has ordered 40,000 sets of two of the inotec labels. During production, the labels are moulded onto the surface of Qantas Airline baggage storage bins used to carry baggage through the airport handling systems. They are securely applied to the storage bins and enable the seamless, efficient tracking and control of baggage movement from check-in to the aircraft.

The latest ICM Airport Technics’ inotec UK in-mould RFID smart label order was worth £30,000 and was dispatched earlier this year. Commenting on the enduring partnership, David Stocker, inotec UK’s sales director said: “We use the world’s most consistent and accurate printing processes to guarantee secure and readable labels at all times, which is essential for airport luggage handling security and efficiency. Our long-standing 10-year partnership with ICM Airport Technics is testament to the superior quality of our label products. They are proven to deliver outstanding value as a result of their high performance and durability in demanding environments.”
