The BCMPA – The Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics is welcoming visitors to this year’s Contract Pack & Fulfilment show, which features as an integral part of the UK’s leading packaging event – Packaging Innovations & Empack held at the NEC, Birmingham on 25th & 26th May.

Centred round the BCMPA hospitality lounge, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the BCMPA team, and meet potential outsourcing partners for their contract manufacturing, packing, fulfilment and logistics projects.

A host of industrial sectors, including Food, Nutraceuticals, Personal Care, Household Chemicals, General Co-Packing, Gift Packing and eCommerce Fulfilment amongst others, will be represented, and members will demonstrate the rapidly growing importance of the third-party supply chain in its entirety. From new product development, pack design, filling, contract packing and white label products, through to an extensive range of storage and logistics services for those customers requiring a one-stop shop, visitors will be able to see how effective outsourcing can be achieved.

The BCMPA will also be hosting a session at the show, titled ‘The value of outsourcing your manufacturing, packing and fulfilment operations,’ on the Empack Technology Stage at 11 am on the first day.

Neil Daniells from Prolog, Laura Palmer from PHL Fulfilment, and Glenn Hayes from Worldwide Logistics will explore with the BCMPA the core issues and challenges, providing guidance and advice for those looking at outsourcing services for their eCommerce and Order Fulfilment businesses.

Rodney Steel, CEO of the BCMPA said; “Packaging Innovations is not just about packaging materials, it’s also how the products get into the packaging in the first place. That’s where BCMPA members come into the equation.

“The requirement by retailers, brands and new entrepreneurs for third party outsourcing has never been higher, and we welcome visitors to come along to Contract Pack & Fulfilment to find out more.”

Representing 200 specialists, the BCMPA has become an invaluable resource for businesses looking to explore the benefits that expert third-party supply chain engagement can deliver.

Packaging Innovations is an essential part of the exhibition calendar and, given recent global challenges, it provides the perfect opportunity for people to meet face-to-face. Supported by the attendance of nearly 280 suppliers, this year’s show, and the increased prominence of Contract Pack & Fulfilment, makes it a must see for all visitors.
